Step By Step Application Procedure
Indy Spray On Bedliners are professionally applied by our network of fully trained applicators, our application procedure of quality bedliners has been refined over the years and includes the following step-by-step process. Follow along to see what it takes.
Step 1
All hardware such as tie downs and tailgate bolts are removed (where possible) and the bed is wiped down with wax and grease remover to clean any substances that may stop the liner from adhering.
Step 2
A special wire cutting tape is applied to all edges where the liner will be trimmed.
Step 3
Paper and plastic film are used to mask all areas of the truck that are not to be sprayed.
Step 4
The edges are hand sanded to avoid damaging the paint beyond the liner and main areas are power sanded to ensure permanent adhesion. All the dust from sanding is blown off the bed.
Step 5
The liner is sprayed into the bed and onto the tailgate by a trained applicator and is thoroughly inspected before the masking is removed.
Step 6
The wire cutting tape is pulled up through the coating to produce clean edges. The rest of the masking is removed and all hardware is replaced. You now have a professionally applied spray on bed liner that will last a lifetime.
Classic Black
Our classic black liner looks great on any truck. Providing you with the right mix of toughness, strength, flexibility, abrasion and cut resistance for a great value. The perfect solution for consumer vehicles, commercial vehicles and heavy equipment.
Accent Color
Indy spray on bedliners are available in one of our standard colors allowing your local Indy applicator to apply a fully colored liner. Perfect for matching a truck’s detailing with an accent color. Available colors include Torch Red, Hunter Green, Light Grey, Dark Grey, True Blue, Sandstone Tan, and Chestnut Brown.
Color Match
Utilizing our two-step, non-fade color system your local Indy applicator can do an exact match to the trucks paint including today’s popular metallic and pearl paints. Using the paint code from the vehicle and our custom formulated Aliphatic Urethane topcoat our professional applicators can apply a fully color matched bed liner that combines toughness with maximum color stability.

Q. How long does it take to have my truck sprayed?
This depends on the type of truck you have and whether you request a color matched liner. Typically, most regular liners can be done in four hours or less. Color matched liners can take an additional hour to complete. You should enquire with your dealer the time required to complete your bedliner.
Q. Do I need to do anything to my truck bed before arriving at my appointment?
The only requirements are that your truck bed be clean and free of debris. Please check with your local dealer for more specific instructions.
Q. How much material do you spray on a truck?
Spraying a bedliner requires 3 to 5 gallons of material, depending on the size of the truck and if over-rail protection is applied.
Q. Is your material polyurethane or polyurea?
Our spray on bedliner material is a hybrid blend of polyurethanes and polyureas. Most of the products on the market that are described as polyureas are actually hybrids. The truth is that both have their benefits and strengths and only a blend offers you the best of both products.
Q. Can I install accessories in my truck bed after it has been sprayed?
Bed lids, camper shells, 5th wheel hitches, tie-downs, utility boxes, etc... all fit great because Indy is permanently bonded and molds perfectly to the surface of your truck bed.
Q. Is the bedliner repairable?
Even if the most unlikely mishap occurs, your professional Indy applicator can seamlessly repair your bedliner.
Q. Are Indy bedliners environmentally friendly?
Indy spray-on bedliners are environmentally friendly because our solvent-free material contains no harmful VOCs or CFCs.
